Withdrawal and Refunds

Withdrawal and Refunds

Last updated: November 2024

Members are expected to play close attention to their own schedule to ensure they are available to play prior to registering for an event. Players may withdraw from any tournament before the Withdrawal Deadline in their Player Dashboard. Important: all cancellations MUST be submitted via the Player Dashboard

Tournament Withdrawal & Refunds

Tournament entry fees are refundable to players who submit their refund request prior to the Withdrawal Deadline for the Tournament. The Withdrawal Deadline is normally published on the Tournament Microsite on the EXP website, the Tournament Fact Sheet and is displayed in various other places within the EXP digital ecosystem that relate to the event. Members who submit a refund request prior to the Withdrawal Deadline will be refunded in full, less the payment processor service fee.

EXP processes all refunds within 1-2 business day, however it may take longer for your money to be returned to your bank per bank policy.

Refunds will not be granted for cancellations and withdrawals after the tournament withdrawal deadline, unless the withdrawal is due to a medical situation, in which case a player may send the relevant documentation to the EXP Player Support Team (team@expgolf.org). It is up to League Office to determine if the medical situation warrants a refund, credit, or neither.

Membership fees are non-refundable.

No Shows

It is the responsibility of the participant to notify EXP Golf when cancelling out of a tournament. Any member unable to participate on the day of the tournament who has not previously cancelled will be considered a “No Show.”

Disqualifications under the Rules of Golf include but are not limited to:

  1. Juniors leaving the golf course or city in which the event is conducted during the competition without proper withdrawal;
  2. Failing to appear for rounds of an event;

Disqualification penalties because of intent or a deliberate decision by the player will be listed as DQ Rule 5.3a(NS) or Rule 3.3b(2)(NC) and printed next to the junior's name in the results. The junior's membership will be suspended, and he or she will not be eligible for postseason honors. If a junior has previously been accepted into a future EXP tournament(s), they will be withdrawn immediately.

Member Responsibility

Members must familiarize themselves with tournament withdrawal policies, including any applicable fees or deadlines. See next section for more information. Additionally, Members who register for an event are expected to familiarize themselves with the Withdrawal Deadline for the event. Members are responsible for reading and understanding the withdrawal policy prior to using EXP services or making a purchase use of EXP Golf website

If you have any questions about the league's official Withdrawal and Refund Policy, please email League Office at team@expgolf.org.
